couplet--domesticated insect and wild fungus
mealey bugs on a yew plant in a raised planter and rusty fungus on unidentified plant, maybe a dogwood shrub. growing in a soil that dosnt look well cared for seems to be the cause of the yews infestation, from a short distance of three yard it seemed the insects were small flakes of bark peeling off, closer each insect becomes seperate from the stems. the shrub growing semi wild has rust but I had to get closer to tell it had the fungus.
