i believe the best way to tell of the villas along the brenta--either by palladio himself or so strongly influenced by his style that a marked family resemblance is apparent--will be to catalogue them, beginning with the most widely known of all his brenta houses, the lonely, romantic villa malcontenta. what a lovely lingering word to say--malcontenta.
