a question older than the pyramids, how were the pyramids built?
dr. charles kos, incorrigible youtube mountebank, charlatan, and historian with a diploma. he thinks the pyramids were poured insitu as concrete! hundreds of videos on his youtube channel explaining this theory and others.
were the blocks cut from a cliff side carried to the giza plateau and somehow raised in place. or were they poured in place with a geopolymer concrete that seems to be natural stone.
i think neither of the above. i think they were made insitu using the pise de terre method. a damp mixture of soil and straw combined with urine are dumped in a wooden form and then tamped with a mallet to compress it. when it completely dries it is as hard as any stone or concrete and can resist the elements for millennia.
